We do the right thing for the right reasons.

Anovo was created in 2012 by executives with significant experience in the specialty pharmacy and biopharmaceutical industry.  In fact, four of the five Anovo founders were instrumental in the creation and growth of one of the most successful and highly regarded specialty pharmacies, Accredo Health, Inc. (Accredo). Today’s high-touch pharmacy service model was developed in the early 1980s with the help one of Anovo’s founders, David Stevens, who saw an opportunity to allow pediatric patients and their families to manage their infused medications at home instead of spending days in hospital. This custom service model was perfected just in time for the development of biotech drugs, and filled a new and unique need for patients and the industry.  As they grew the business, they also pioneered a new industry:  specialty pharmacy. With the absorption of many specialty pharmacy companies by larger companies through the years, Anovo’s founders saw the levels of service to healthcare providers, pharmaceutical companies and especially patients dwindle. To answer this need, in 2012 our ownership team created Anovo – a specialty pharmacy, with an updated array of services, where patients and health care providers deal directly with dedicated pharmacists and customer care staff who are focused on being the patients’, physicians’ and pharmaceutical companies’ premier source for customized treatment and support programs that address the unique needs of patients with certain complex, costly and chronic diseases.
